Developed his talent with Prof. Josef Muzika, one of the best pupils of Prof. Otakar Ševčík. He studied at the Conservatory and the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague as a pupil of Prof. Nora Grumlíková and officially completed his studies at the master classes of the phenomenal Nathan Milstein in Zurich.

Among the most important competition achievements of Čeněk Pavlík are the first prizes in the international competitions Prague Spring in 1976 and Emily Anderson in London in 1980.

He has performed as a soloist in almost sixty countries around the world. He has recorded for radio, television and released albums. In addition to his concert activities, he occasionally teaches master classes in Spain, Germany, Poland, Canada, Brazil and the Czech Republic.

Since 1986 he has been playing chamber music in the Guarneri Trio, which he founded with pianist Ivan Klánský and cellist Marek Jerie, known since 1989 as the Guarneri Trio Prague. During his career he has performed over three thousand concerts and made dozens of radio recordings and CDs. According to feedback from all over the world, what is most appreciated about his musical expression is the deep emotional experience and elegance of expression.
